Tesla has claimed the most important EV Supercharger community on the earth after revealing that it has crossed the 40,000 mark of superchargers put in worldwide.

The milestone was introduced on the Teslacharging Twitter account on Wednesday in trademark Tesla fashion: “40k Superchargers worldwide – and counting.”

It is a notable milestone, particularly as Tesla’s Supercharger is slowly being opened up to be used by non-Tesla EVs all over the world.

The subsequent era of Superchargers can be on the horizon, with Tesla set to construct its first V4 Supercharger station in Yuma County in Arizona, in accordance with planning paperwork lately shared on Twitter in September.

Nevertheless, regardless of the success and recognition of Tesla’s Superchargers, costs for utilizing the community have continued to rise, growth of the community has been delayed, and variable pricing has now been launched in peak intervals.
