DMW Secretary Susan Opel stated native manning industries have assured job-hunters extra provides for native sailors as a result of resurgence of demand within the cruise line business.

Opel stated Ukraine is the sixth largest supply of sailors, however its ongoing battle with Russia has pressured transport corporations to look elsewhere, particularly within the Philippines.
